Find a public benefit flying group near you!

First see if you can solve your need for information using our listings as described below.  Then if you have additional questions feel free to send an email to mail@aircareall.org  or call our volunteer helpers at our Office: Phone and Help Line:   Toll Free:   888 260-9707 

For patient and medical transport:   if you seek help moving a needy patient, please contact the groups in the listings that indicate they provide medical transport in your area.  

National groups operate in most areas of the country.   Regional groups usually serve in a multi-state area and often link up with others including national groups to handle flights out of their operating area.  Each group can provide you their latest complete information on type of operations performed, equipment used, exact areas where they operate, and other useful facts.  

NOTE: almost every medical transport group will fly or refer all kinds of patients, including children and veterans, within their service area.  Do not hesitate to ask any group for help.  If they have any restrictions they will tell you.

For non-patient missions:   please study the listings carefully and you will find organizations specializing in non-patient transport missions such as search and rescue, emergency preparedness, international work, environmental flying, etc.  Contact groups that can solve your or your community's need.

For interested volunteers and supporters:   if you are a pilot or other person wanting to volunteer for a group, do contact all groups in the listings that you find interesting and which operate in your area.

About the listings:  The Air Care Alliance lists all nonprofit volunteer flying groups, whether they are members of the Air Care Alliance or not, in the interests of providing all possible help to patients, communities, and others with needs. Listing does not imply a review or endorsement of any group, thus individuals must make their own determinations about the helpfulness, relevance, or validity of individual groups and their volunteers, and about their fundraising practices.

Membership in the Air Care Alliance indicates that a group supports the mission of the Alliance and shares in the concept that it benefits the work of all groups if the Members collaborate in order to improve their missions of service to the public and to enhance access to aviation transportation for those with special needs. Groups wishing to be listed or considered for membership should see our Member Group Forms or email us about their interest.

Whether you contact every group or not we strongly encourage you to follow the links below to the many groups' web sites in order to learn about the very different ways in which these groups fly to help others.  Some groups publish extensive discussions about public benefit flying which can be quite informative and interesting even if they do not serve your area of the country! 0

When contacting groups using our listings, please be aware that the information changes rapidly and we update our master listing regularly.  If you find incorrect information please let us know as soon as possible.
